Yoga
What is Yoga?Yoga helps to de-stress while building strength and stamina. It promotes body awareness and is beneficial to weight loss. The Institute of Medicine at the National Academy of Sciences considers yoga to be one of the complementary and alternative therapies used in integrative medical centers and clinics, and it is currently being used to help patients with cancer, HIV, heart disease, and more.

Yoga benefits us by INCREASING:
Flexibility, Steadiness, Relaxation, Muscle tone, Fitness, Concentration, Memory, Mental Performance, EEG Alpha, Respiratory Efficiency, Cardiovascular Efficiency, Endocrine and Metabolic Competence, Body Image, Self Esteem, and Spiritual Orientation.
